I am a freelance writer from Belfast, based in Edinburgh.

I read English at the University of Bristol and took the NCTJ Dip in Writing for the Periodical Press.

Theatre: Debut play The Shift shortlisted for Theatre 503 Playwriting Award; Little Boxes (Theatre 503 - Rapid Write Response); How to Ride a Rollercoaster (rehearsed read at Traverse/ runner up Pitlochry Short Play Award); At a Stop (developed through Tron Progressive Playwrights, Pitlochry and Lyric Theatre Belfast); And the Band Keeps Marching On (commissioned by Sky Arts for Art50 with rehearsed readings at The Bush, The Barbican and The Sage, Newcastle). One of the Lyric Theatre Belfast’s New Playwrights for 2018. Artist Residency at Pitlochry FT developing Ash. Shortlisted for Plyawrights Studio Scotland Mentoring in 2026.

Screen: Derek vs the Evil Halloween Pigeon (comedy horror short produced for iPlayer by BBC/ Nice One) and Scot Squad (sketch writing for Series 5 – BBC 3/ Comedy Unit). Shortlisted for BBC Writersroom’s The Break. Longlisted for BBC Writersroom’s new short form NI Comedy Characters for iPlayer.

Articles & Editorial: I write for brands, online magazines and apps. Most recently, I have been writing and collaborating on articles and industry guides for British American Household Staffing.
